Nadodigal has triggered interest as it is director-turned-actor Sasikumar’s first release after last year’s trendsetter Subramaniapuram, this time purely as an actor. The film has been directed by Samudrakani, who has made a name for himself as a good television script writer and director and has also played the villain in Subramaniapuram. Abhinya, a differently-abled actress is also making her debut as one of the heroines. There is a lot at stake for Sasikumar, who many feel will blossom into a big star in Tamil films with this film.
Nadodigal actress Ananya whose original name Aayilya changed due acting film by the director Sasikumar, she is now busy acting Telugu film Ammayikoodu.
Ananya is very happy for her the film Nadodigal merited her good name fame who says it is the director Samuthrakani and Sasikumar who made it happen, also adds that the film had proven herself that she can do further.

Ananya a Malayalam actress who is now making her debut in Tamil with Nadodigal.
Ananya, plays the role of Nallamma in the film Nadodigal and is very excited about her entry into Kollywood. Ananya made her debut in the Malayalam industry with the movie Positive. Apart from her Tamil project, she also has two other Malayalam films, including Rahasiya Police, waiting to hit the screens.
Ananya Says, “I just want to play nice characters. I only look at how strong my characters are and how my costumes in the film will be. I don’t want to do glamour roles. I believe that an artiste can survive in this industry by doing good character roles alone. I don’t think one can survive on glamour. Even if that is the case, I don’t want to do such roles.”
Abhinaya who plays one of the role of the heroine in Nadodigal is different in the sense that she can neither speak nor hear. Her voice has been dubbed for the movie.Abhinaya has also donned a role in Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’.
